April is MENA Heritage Month
April is MENA Heritage Month
Join us in recognizing April Heritage Month, with a meet-and-greet photo-op with Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson.
Mayor Katie Wilson has, for the first time ever, issued a proclamation recognizing that April is MENA Heritage Month. For the second time ever, Washington State Governor Bob Ferguson has done the same.
We’re hosting a small gathering of MENA community leaders to honor our vibrant cultures, shared stories, and the beautiful diversity of the Middle East and North Africa. Whether you’re part of the community or an ally looking to learn and celebrate, we’d love to have you there.
Expect good music, great tea, and even better conversation as we kick off a month of pride and heritage.
